Pilot Drilling Technologies develops sidetrack systems for creating controlled casing exits during sidetracking operations. These systems support applications where a new wellbore must be initiated from an existing cased hole, including well re-entry, redevelopment and drilling from existing infrastructure.
A sidetracking operation depends on more than the individual tool. System selection must account for casing size and weight, casing grade, well geometry, inclination, planned window orientation, formation conditions, bottom-hole assembly configuration and the required exit profile. Dosco will work with customers to establish these operating parameters and identify the appropriate Pilot system for the planned application.
